Up Close and Personal

Those who find themselves on this website most likely have a keen understanding that the Land Surveying Profession isn't the most popular on the block anymore. The average age of the land surveyor in America is 57 years old.In an effort to combat the aging surveyor and lack of public knowledge, NSPS (National Society for Professional Surveyors) began an outreach program for young people with the goal being for each state to rally young geospatial professionals, help provide them with resources and networking opportunities, and equip the next generation of land surveyors to provide a valuable service to our communities, called "Young Surveyors Network". The goal of Arizona YSN is to offer valuable resources, comradery, support, educational opportunities, outreach events, scholarships, and more to the young and *not* so young land surveyors in Arizona.
